Working in the aviation industry, she is surrounded by components that are constantly being repaired, replaced, and discarded. What interests her most are the small details these objects accumulate over time: worn finishes, old paint, tool marks, and evidence of use that often go unnoticed.
 

Through repetition, organization, and composition, these materials are transformed into works that preserve a piece of their history while presenting them in a new context.
 

Each piece begins with components that were originally engineered for function. By isolating and arranging them, Baugh explores the relationship between utility, time, and the stories left behind in the objects we often overlook.
